What is Bazaar.ae?
Bazaar is an online classifieds
site for the U.A.E. You can post classified adverts for free in a
range of categories like property, jobs, cars and more.
How many adverts can I
place?
You can place as many unique ads as you like within reason. However
each advert must be for a different product or service. We do not
accept the same or similar adverts in multiple categories or sub-categories.
How do I get started?
Simply click on advertise and place your free ad online. The whole
process takes just a less than a minute.
How quickly will my ad
go live?
All adverts are reviewed by our editorial team before they go live.
This process can take up to 24 hours but is usually much quicker.
We will send you an email to let you know when your ad goes live.
Where will my ads appear?
Your adverts will appear on our website at www.bazaar.ae.
We do not display any adverts in any offline publications such as
newspapers.
How do I add a photo to
my advert?
Adverts with a photo get noticed more and adding a photo can really
help improve the response to your advert.
You can add a photo either when you first create the advert or at
a later time by using the 'edit button' when you have logged in
to your account page at log in.
Photos should be in .jpg or .bmp format and under 300k in file size.
How long will my ad stay
online for?
It is your responsibility to remove your ads when you no longer
have the goods or services available.
Adverts in the For Sale, Trade and Wanted categories are deleted
after every 90 days. Categories in jobs stay on for 180 days. If
you want to keep you ad on bazaar.ae there is an option at the log
in page to renew your posting. When selected you ad will automatically
be renewed and placed with current time and date.
Ads placed as a service are not automatically deleted after a specific
time.
Why have you disapproved
or deleted my advert?
Ads are most commonly disapproved or deleted due to the same or
similar ad already being live on our website. We reserve the right
to refuse ads without giving a reason. Read our advertiser terms
and conditions for full details.
If an advert is posted in an incorrect category then it will be
deleted or changed to the correct category at our convenience. Please
always choose the most appropriate category for your advert and
only post the same advert in a single category.
If you are placing a Trade or Wanted advert then please ensure it
is placed in the Trade or Wanted category and not in the For Sale
category.
Can I edit my ad once it
is live?
Yes, simply log in to your Bazaar.ae account and click the 'edit'
link next to the ad you wish to edit. If you edit your ad the previous
version will stay online until the changes have been reviewed by
our editorial team.
How can I remove an advert?
Simply log in to your Bazaar.ae account and click the 'delete' link
next to the ad you wish to remove. It is your responsibility to
remove an advert if you no longer have the goods or services on
offer.
Do I have to put my contact
info in the ad?
If you wish you can include as much contact information as you like
in your advert including your email address, telephone number and
web address.
If you choose not to enter any contact info within the ad then people
can still contact you via the 'email advertiser' link that will
appear below your ad. This allows people to send a message to you
via the bazaar.ae web based mail system.
Your contact e-mail will only be displayed when you have received
a message from another bazaar.ae user, and reply to that mail.
Why do you ask for Emirate
when I place an ad?
The Emirate is displayed in your ad to other users and is used by
our proprietary search technology to help users locate advertisers
in their local area. For example instead of a user viewing all ads
throughout the U.A.E they can search for an ad in their local area.
I've received an enquiry
about my advert from abroad. What should I do?
We recommend that you only deal with U.A.E buyers who you can meet
in person and who can pay you in cash.
You may receive enquiries from people who request to pay by bank
transfer or other payment methods such as MoneyGram or Western Union
or Paypal and who request that you ship goods abroad to other countries.
We strongly advise against this as often these people are unscrupulous
fraudsters operating a form of scam.
Be very cautious of potential buyers who ask you for your bank details
or who offer to send you an amount of money that is higher than
you asking price.
If you are a Buyer, we recommend that you do not deal with Sellers
located abroad who want to ship goods to you.
If you are a Seller, we recommend that you do not ship goods abroad
or sell to Buyers who say they are in another country.
We recommend that pets are never purchased without you being there
in person to see the animal and conduct the transaction face to
face with the Seller.

To retrieve your login details simply e-mail us at retrieve-password@bazaar.ae.
Enter your email address and your login details will be emailed
to you within 24-hours.
