How do I search through the classifieds on bazaar.ae?

Important rules when you search.

• It makes no difference if you write with captions or with small letters.
• Each search can contain all letters in the alphabet and all numbers. As well as symbols like - & /.
• Bazaar.ae’s search engine works different than the ones in google or yahoo. This means that when doing a
  combined search words like ‘AND’ and ‘+’ will confuse the search engine and minimize your hits.
• If you search on several words and one word doesn’t exist the search engine will not display any hits even if
  some of the words where found.

For Sale, Wanted, Trade, Companies.

There are various ways to search and find classified adverts on bazaar.ae. All adverts are placed in one of three main categories which you can view across the top of the page. These categories are For Sale, Trade and Wanted. Once a main category has been selected we recommend you to use the 3 below selection boxes.

You can also select Companies to be able to exclude any ads from private advertisers.

Categories.

You can browse through all the adverts in a particular category by simply clicking on the ‘All categories bar’ and specifying the category you would like to view. A list of the sub-categories available within the main category are then displayed down on a scroll bar. Simply select your sub-category and press the search link and all you will be able to browse through all the adverts within it.

Keyword Search.

To further specify you search and to get more accurate hits we recommend that you type what you are looking for in the ‘Keyword search box’ feature next to the ‘All categories bar’. Simply type in the keyword of the product or service that you are looking for and click the 'Search' button to display all matching adverts within your category.

Bazaar.ae’s search engine is designed to catch up to 3 different areas in the `Keyword search’ box. All 3 engines work individually but combine the search into hits where your search words are present. For example, if you write ‘BMW’ then all BMW’s posted on bazaar.ae will show. Write ‘BMW 645’ and only BMW 645’s will be displayed, as well as the ones were BMW and 645 are written in different parts of the ad. Write ‘BMW 645 BLACK’ and all BMW 645’s which are black, or which have black mentioned in the ad will appear.

You can optionally search adverts within all main categories and sub-categories by only typing what you are looking for in the ‘Keyword search’.

Emirate

To be able to only view ads within your own emirate we recommend you to choose one of the seven emirates of the U.A.E.

Extended options

In some of our categories we also offer extended search options.

In the category “CARS” you can specify price, year, mileage and type between certain intervals to optimize your hits.

In the category “REALESTATE” you can specify for sale, to let, rental wanted and sharing, between different price, areas, types and bedrooms intervals to optimize your search.

In the category “JOBS” you can specify the job situation and the job field to get more accurate hits.
